Computer science is the study of algorithmic processes.
Only the most recent grade in the four prerequisite subject areas is considered during the assessment.
Admissions scoring is equally weighted between grades and essay. Grades above 3.7 face minimal benefit, but there's a steep drop-off below this.
You are allowed a slight exceedance over the word limit (250 words per prompt), but it's advised to be cautious due to associated risks.
The rubric is directly provided from the University of Washington through a process known as the Freedom of Information Act.
